In July, TCAF Founder Marianne Magnin and Enterprise Architect Dr. Abol Froushan embarked on a second insightful visit to the Maison Berthe Morisot in Bougival. This visit was pivotal in assessing the progress of the building's site, reviewing the evolving permanent museography, discussing with co-curator Christine Delauzay and City Counsellor Gaël Diot specifics about the Scottish Impressions inaugural exhibition and capturing essential visual elements for our upcoming serious game, Berthe's Brush at Bougival (the BBB game).
The July visit was covered by the local newspaper Actu Versailles. The article highlights the ongoing efforts to prepare the space for its grand opening on September 21st coinciding withe European Heritage Days and provides an insider's look at how the legacy of Berthe Morisot is being brought to life through innovative exhibitions and technology.
The Maison Berthe Morisot, set to open on September 21st, is quickly transforming into a unique cultural hub that not only honours the legacy of Berthe Morisot, the first woman Impressionist painter, but also integrates cutting-edge technology and interactive experiences. The museography, currently in the final stages, will offer visitors an intimate glimpse into the life and work of Morisot, through carefully curated exhibits and immersive storytelling.
Our team is particularly excited about the integration of visual elements from this visit into the serious game BBB, which is designed to engage and educate visitors on the art and history of the Impressionists in an interactive manner. This game will be a central feature of the exhibition, inviting players to explore the world of Morisot and her contemporaries and stimulating their own creativity in a dynamic, virtual environment.
As we move closer to the grand opening, we are eager to share these developments with our community and look forward to unveiling the full experience in September.
